Mason Military Spouses and Partners Group

Calling all military spouses and partners employed at George Mason University! Come join other military partners and spouses for a monthly brown bag lunch and conversation. Bring your lunch or a cup of coffee and meet new friends. This will be a great opportunity to connect with others, share advice and discuss how this group can be a valuable resource for Mason military spouses and partners going forward. Mason Needleworks

A new Mason Patriot wearing the very first hat knit by Mason Needleworks (formerly UHall Needleworks).

Mason Needleworks gets together regularly for stitching and conversation. All types of needleworking are welcome -- knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, embroidery and more.

Mindful Tuesdays

Faculty and staff are welcome to enjoy a variety of mindfulness practices on Tuesdays during the spring 2019 semester. These practices include mindful sitting, journaling, and guided meditation. No experience necessary. Facilitators will vary throughout the semester.

Sessions will begin at noon and end by 12:45 p.m. (at the latest). Meet in SUB I, Room 3309. For questions, contact Katie Clare at or 703-993-7078.

The Working Mothers Support Group is "available to women interested in sharing stories and being part of an informal organization of working mothers. Working mothers face unique issues, and coming together over lunch fits schedules and allows members to discuss their experiences in a friendly, nonjudgmental environment."
